AIX System Software Engineering Support

- expert knowledge and a significant work experience of the UNIX operating system(s)
- to be familiar, to the extent required by the performance of the above tasks, with as many as possible of the following system software    environments:

• on IBM Systems: AIX 6.1;
• on IBM pSeries and Bladecenters: very good experience on IBM virtualization, including Micro-Partitioning, LPAR, VIOS, ...;
• Administration and configuration of IBM pSeries and Bladecenters using HMC and AMM
• Ability to perform end-to-end system changes from requirements to testing and documentation;
• TCP/IP internetworking and the related network protocols and applications, e.g. NIS, NFS, DNS, SNMP, FTP;
• high availability software IBM HACMP and cluster file system GPFS;
• Good experience with the monitoring tool Nagios
• Ability to write technical documentation in English
